Signal Messaging Application Facing Technical Problems

Since WhatsApp updated the new policies and usability for their apps, more and more users globally are starting to switch to the Signal messaging app.  Furthermore, this application has been recommended by Elon Musk as an alternative to WhatsApp.

 Most recently, Signal has confirmed that their application is experiencing technical issues.  This is due to the sharp increase in new users.

The company said they have added new servers and additional capacity.  However, it is still not enough to accommodate the growing number of users.

 For now, Signal is in the process of repairing the problem.  It is expected to return to normal soon.

 On the other hand, to date the Signal messaging app has been downloaded by over 50 million users on the Play Store.
